ICSR 2017 – The 16th International Conference on Software Reuse

ICSR is the premier conference to discuss important topics related to software reuse. The conference brings together the main researchers and practitioners discussing current trends and future directions in the area.

10th International Workshop on Variability Modelling of Software-intensive Systems

The VaMoS workshop series aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners from different areas dedicated to mastering variability to discuss advantages, drawbacks, and complementarities of various approaches and to present new results for mastering variability throughout the whole lifecycle of systems, system families, and product lines.

12th Brasilian Symposium on Software Quality (SBQS)

RiSE Labs members organised the 12th Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality (SBQS). SBQS takes place annually and it is sponsored by the Brazilian Computing  Society (SBC).

The main topic of the symposium is software quality and it gets different communities together, such as, researchers, students, industry, lecturers, and entrepreneurs. SBQS favours the exchange of experiences (e.g., methods, tools, state-of-the-art, state-of-the-practice, etc.) among all of them.

16th Software Product Line Conference (SPLC)

RiSE Labs members are organizing the 16th Software Product Line Conference (SPLC). The main conference on the topic will be in September, 2012, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. It is the best environment to discuss several topics related to software product lines.

4th RiSE International Summer School (RISS)

RISS 2011 (Next Generation of Software Product Lines) is an international summer school created by the Reuse in Software Engineering (RiSE) Labs to discuss the state-of-the-art and practice related to software reuse. Software reuse is an important factor for companies interested in improving their productivity, time-to-market, quality and reducing costs.

3rd RiSE International Summer School (RISS)

RISS 2010 is an international summer school created by the Reuse in Software Engineering (RiSE) Labs to discuss the state-of-the-art and practice related to software reuse. Software reuse is an important factor for companies interested in improving their productivity, time-to-market, quality and reducing costs.

3rd Workshop for Reuse Introduction in the Software Development Companies (WIRE)

2nd RiSS on Software Product Lines and 1st Workshop on Software Reuse Efforts

RiSS 2008 was the second edition of the new international summer school created by the Reuse in Software Engineering (RiSE) to discuss the state-of-the-art and practice related to software reuse and its related issues. Software reuse is a key factor for companies interested in improving their productivity, time-to-market, quality and reducing costs. In addition, the field is becoming mature – the 10th International Conference on Software Reuse (ICSR) happened this year in China and the 12th International Conference on Software Product Lines (SPLC) will be held this year in Ireland – and the results can be seen in the practical world which companies are more and more introducing reuse in their research-development-innovation agendas.

2nd Workshop for Reuse Introduction in the Software Development Companies (WIRE)

WIRE 2007 was a workshop about the practical aspects related to software reuse in projects with industrial trait. Advances in the state-of-the-art that reflect in practical experiences involving technical, managerial and organizational aspects were expected in order to stimulate the exchange of experiences, opinions and, mainly, debates. Reuse, in the workshop context, encompasses areas related to reuse processes based on mass production techniques, such as, for example, processes involving product lines, and aspects related to the challenges of introducing reuse in companies.

1st RiSE Summer School on Software Reuse (RiSS)

Software reuse. It is sure a hot topic in software development even it started in 1968. Last week, we announced the ICSR conference. The First RiSE Summer School on Software Reuse (RiSS), was organized by the Recife Center for Advanced Studies and Systems (C.E.S.A.R) through its Reuse in Software Engineering (RiSE) group. The speakers included: Bill Frakes, Charles Krueger, Dirk Muthig, Ivica Crnkovic, Rubén Prieto-Díaz and Wayne Lim. In this school, reuse topics were related to: Domain Engineering, Software Product Lines, Component-Based Development (CBD), Organizational Economics aspects, Component Libraries and Software Reuse tools.
