For the academic year 2008, RiSE is accepting MSc. and Ph.D. students in any of the projects listed below. All projects are part of our effort in defining, prototyping and experimenting with a robust framework for software reuse that will, in the end, encompass all phases of the software development cycle.

Our main interests are in real world problems and large applications and we are teaming up with the Software Reuse Group at C.E.S.A.R to serve as a practical bench for testing our theories and prototypes in practice. It is within our plans to work together with C.E.S.A.R and other interested parties to turn processes, methods and technologies that will result of our effort and have industrial value into either products of existing companies or new startups.

We expect the first of such to appear within the 2-3 year time frame. If you do have any queries about any of the projects or our work in general, please feel free to get in touch with Eduardo Almeida.
