Special Issue on Software Reuse: Methods, Processes, Tools and Experiences

The Journal of the Brazilian Computer Society (JBCS) is seeking original manuscripts for a Special Issue on Software Reuse.

JBCS - the Journal of the Brazilian Computer Society - is a formal quarterly publication of the Sociedade Brasileira de Computação, Brazil. Its aim is to publish original research papers, serving as a forum for disseminating innovative research in all aspects of computer science.

The Journal gathers students, researchers and practitioners with a broad range of interests in software reuse and its related aspects.

Software reuse is a critical aspect of software engineering and a key for industrial scale productivity and quality of software process environments. Through software reuse quality and productivity could be improved by reusing all forms of proven experience, including products and processes, as well as quality and productivity models. Productivity could increase by using existing experience, rather than creating everything from the beginning.

This special issue focuses on methods, processes, tools and experiences related to software reuse and their impact in academic and industrial environments.
