RiSE Labs presents research during the Second Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures and Reuse (SBCARS), at Porto Alegre, Brazil

RiSE Labs, research and innovation unit from RiSE, participates in the main software reuse conference of the Latin America, the Second Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures and Reuse (SBCARS) with the papers: (i) Enhancing Components Search in a Reuse Environment Using Discovered Knowledge Techniques from Alexandre Martins, Vinicius Cardoso Garcia, Eduardo Santana de Almeida and Silvio Romero de Lemos Meira; (ii) A Lightweight Technology Change Management Approach to Facilitating Reuse Adoption, from Vinicius Cardoso Garcia, Liana Barachisio Lisboa, Frederico Araújo Durão, Eduardo Santana de Almeida and Silvio Romero de Lemos Meira, and (iii) Towards an Effective Component Testing Approach Supported by a CASE Tool, from Fernando Raposo Silva, Eduardo Santana de Almeida and Silvio Romero de Lemos Meira. The papers present (i) a mechanism to optimize the reusable software asset search through data mining techniques, (ii) an approach to facilitate the software reuse practices introduction in organizations, and (iii) a CASE tool to aid in software components test approaches. Besides, RiSE Lab researcher Vinicius Cardoso Garcia will participate in the industrial panel, which will discuss practical aspects of the software reuse experienced in the industry.
