Member from RiSE Labs is awarded with the Best M.Sc. Dissertation in the Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality

Fernando Raposo, member from RiSE Labs, was awarded with the first place in the 7th M.Sc. dissertation and Ph.D. thesis Contest in Software Quality. The event is co-located with the Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality, and it was performed during May 1-5, in Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Fernando’s work consisted of a component testing approach, a tool supporting the approach, and empirical studies evaluating them.

In 2006, Alexandre Alvaro, another RiSE Labs member, was awarded in the same category with the first place.
